Sylvania, which combines both the city and township, is one of the larger communities in
Ohio. It is a combined population in the mid 40,000.
One of the quality assets is the Sylvania School System. In November of 2008, the community passed $79,000,000 levy. The usage of that money includes both replacing three of the schools and strengthening other elements of the school system.
The park system winds throughout NW Ohio with
Sylvania being an integral part of the County system.
